Cisco ASA 5520 Failover

When I try to put my ASAs in active/standby config here is the error I get.

Warning: Failover message decryption failure. Pleas make sure both units have the same failover shared key and crypto license or the system is out of memory.

Any help will be appreciated

Hi Patrick,

Based on message / Cisco docs, it appears like failover key matching issue.

This problem occurs due to failover key configuration. In order to resolve this issue, remove the failover key, and configure the new shared key.

you can also chech the both keys by issuing- more system: running-config | in failover

Chcek the failover keys, they shoudl be the same.

Also, it may not be related but make sure both units have same version, hardware and license.
