Folks,
I have Cisco ASA5585 Chassis with two SSP-60 module installed in slot-0 and slot-1 for HA solution. I have question related how does chassis behave when we have two SSP-60 module installed. Does it act like two individual module connected or one slot control both module?
I want to configure HA between both module for redundancy but someone told me this is not a good idea because slot-0 will control slot-1 and if you reboot or slot-0 fail then it will shutdown slot-1 module also. (I can understand chassis failure case or power supply failure)
I didn't find any good or official document related this kind of design so please let me out and explain me why this is not a good solution and limitation. Thank you
