One of my customer has got two “Cisco ASR1001 Chassis w/o IDC" and is considering to do the following two things:
1. Add one more 4 or 5 port 1-GE SPA on top the existing 4-port-1GE SPA. Is this possible even? If yes can someone help me with the part number please. I know these routers are already eolife/eosale. Just wanted to see if there is any option available.
2. Upgrade the throughput from 2.5 to 5 Gbps using the part number "L-FLS-ASR1001-5G=" which is again a end of sale product.
I know we may have to end up upgrading these ASR1001 to some ASR1001-X's. But just wanted to know if there is any other options left if the customer is not willing to replace these ASR's. Please let me know ,
