Hi

Followed the information given on the above link, I'm still getting not able to access the switch I'm still prompted for the password under the companies banner, I have the two supervisor engines attached to  the unit and my cisco console cable is connected to the top one,

Thanks

Paul

I've resolved the issue by removing the redundant supervisory engine then erasing the main supervisory engine and vice versa. unit is now factory default.

Thanks

Great I appreciate your effort !!!

The procedure here doesn't work for the supervisor engine WS-X45-Sup6-E because the confreg 0x2142 command isn't recognized, for me anyway. I will try what Paul tried here and see if that works.
