Problem

-------

I have a CSS that is acting as a layer 2 loadbalance it hangs off a cisco switch which is inturned connected to a pix 515e..

I am unsucessfull in loadbalancing FTP Requests to our FTP Linux Servers (proftpd)

The Symptons are when you telnet to the load balance IP address and issue the "PORT" command in LOWER CASE so "port" it fails with a 501 however if you issue it in upper case then passage is allowed...

They are in an active/passive mode

If you telnet directly to the FTP servers and issue "port" or "PORT" regardless connection is established...

We have used ethereal and it does appear that the loadbalance is rejecting the "port" command..

The end user does not want to issue the port command as upper case... :-(

Hope you can help
