Cisco IDS Event Viewer does cannot add 837 sensor

Hi,

I am trying to 'Add Devices' for an 837 in the IDS Event Viewer and get the error:

IOException when try to get certificate: unsupported keyword OID.2.5.4.5

Anyone know what is happening had how to fix this?

I can make a quick guess in what could be happening.

1) Could you make sure you had generated an ssh key in the sensor.

2) Is the Sensor allowing the IEV workstation to ssh to it?

3) Could you try to ssh from the IEV machine to the sensor. It should allow you.

4) Make sure you have follow up all the setup steps for the IDM & IEM.
