Does the Cisco IE3300 support assigning IP addresses to drives and PLC's via DHCP persistence? I have had quite the time finding a definitive answer. I have experience using it with the Stratix 5700 line of switches but never the IE3300 and an not sure if it supports this feature or not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. The Cisco IE3300 series does support DHCP Persistence. Cisco's version of this technology is called DHCP Port-Based Authentication.

have not found any reference for the switch to act as a DHCP server other than for initial setup!
-> During Express Setup, the switch acts as a DHCP server.

Hello,
as far as I recall, the most you can do (and I do not know if that is what you are looking for) is to bind the same DHCP assigned address to specific switchports. The commands needed would be:
ip dhcp use subscriber-id client-id
ip dhcp subscriber-id interface-name
ip dhcp server use subscriber-id client-id
