Cisco ISR 4321 - Ping beween inbuilt GigabitEthernet and NIMES2-4

Dear All,

We have a network topology that connects between the two regions by IPVPN provided by the ISP. The ISP placed the Cisco ISR 4321 router on both sides.

The Lan Network 192.168.8.0 on Region A is pingable to the Lan Network 192.168.7.0 on Region B.

Router Region A: LAN: 192.168.8.80 configured as a gateway.

Router Region B: LAN: 192.168.7.80 configured as a gateway.

By default, the ISR router has 2 ports for connecting WAN(IPVPN Link is connected) and LAN(both Router A192.168.8.80 and Router B 192.168.7.80 IP is configured and other servers are connected in the same range). The current stage both sides ping each other.

Now the client requires to add one more interface on  Region B Router ISR 4321 which will have the same range of network as LAN(with the IP 192.168.7.100). The ISP has provided quote to add NIMES2-4 interface card. https://www.router-switch.com/nim-es2-4-p-24052.html

The NIMES2-4 Interfaces are layer 2 and currently we can't assign IP address directly to them and we tried a assign as vlan 1 ip address, it says ip overlaps with 192.168.7.0 network

The questions are

1. How to configure the NIMES2-4 ports which has to ping the builtin LAN port network(192.168.7.0) and the Region A network (192.168.8.0).

2. How to configure the NIMES2-4 ports which has to ping only the Region A network (192.168.8.0) but not 192.168.7.0 network.

Thanks in Advance.

Appreciated.
