Cisco ISR 4331 Heat Question

Hi

Correction: The switch is having this issue not the ISR. I can't delete the thread.

Our Cisco ISR 4331 (IOS 16.6.4) is shown in SolarWinds has having a steady temperature of 104-105F degrees.

The Cisco documentation says operating temperature is 32F-104F.

The device says a critical inlet alarm temperature is 49C or 116F.

Shutdown temperature is N/A.

How is being at the top of the operating range 104F contradicting with the environmental variables, i.e. no shutdown temperature and critical temperature of 116F?

Do we have anything to worry about in regard to temperature of the router?

  - You should not worry , there is only one degree difference, (between 'measuring faults' possibly snmp related) ,

 M.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '
