The Nexus 5500 supports the following types of QoS policies: qos: Defines Modular QoS command-line interface (MQC) objects used for marking and policing
network-qos: Defines the characteristics of network-wide QoS properties (such as used in data center bridging [DCB] networks) and should be applied consistently on all switches participating in the network
queuing: Defines MQC objects used for queuing and scheduling, in addition to a limited set of marking objects
control-plane: Defines MQC objects used for control plane policing (CoPP)
In order to apply a 'qos' or 'network-qos' the command has to specified. For example:
policy-map type qos NAME policy-map type network-qos NAME
class type qos NAME class type network-qos NAME
Can someone tell me if there is a global configuration command on Nexus that will set the qos type without having to specify the type each time?
