Cisco out of band

Hi,

I need to configure this onto the console port of the 7200 router. I put it on the AUX port but I need to put it onto the console port.

Is there a document that explains how to do thi?

Configure the modem for console connectivity. Since the the console port lacks reverse telnet capability, the modem initialization string (init string) must be set prior to connecting the modem to the console port of the router.Refer URL

Hi,

I have configured this as per the guide already but what is happening is that modem is answering but there is just a continuous handshake and nothing further.

What else could be wrong? Port speed? Line problem?
