CISCO Router 2811 IOS upgrade

Hi,

I tried upgrading 2811 with new IOS of same release version(15.1), and there was enough memory to hold two IOS(old & new).After loading new IOS in flash it was listed in flash memory and dir: and verification was also successful but router didn't came back online after reloading it.

boot system flash:c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.151-4.M10.bin    ------ new IOS
boot system flash c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.151-4.M.bin    ----- old IOS.

I am taking it, the router comes to a Rommon prompt., did it boot ok before you loaded the new IOS?

is the config register X2102?

Checking the config register is a good first step. If that is not the issue then there is a possibility that the router is attempting to boot the first image but there is some problem. Could you connect to the console and power cycle the router, and post the output as it attempts to boot? This might include messages that would identify the issue.
