Cisco VPN Router - Suggestions

I have two of the RV130W.  After much work with the cable provider, Cisco tech support, and this forum (awesome!) - I've come to the conclusion that the legacy database software (maybe Access is the back-end) that is used is just "slow and fatter than fat".

After Cisco tech support remoting into the VPN setup and stating that all is setup correctly that leaves me with a few decisions:

1. if there is faster Cisco VPN routers than the RV130W?
2. hosting this in the cloud

When both cable company and router tech support states that all is well - dang, I'm not close enough to retirement.   So, I've got to find a solution.

I'm needing a lot more speed.

Suggestions?

Hello Darryl,

the max VPN (IPSec) throughput for the RV130 is about 50Mbps. The 1941 has 170Mbps throughput, the 3925 has 770Mbps. Check Table 2 in the attached document. Obviously it is all a matter of pricing, also, for any throughput higher than approximately 200Mbps you need a High Performance Security License, which will cost even more.
