Hi,
What is the difference between these ISDN BRI cards(functionality):WIC-1B-S/T and VIC-2BRI-NT/TE.
In place of WIC-1B-S/T can i use VIC-2BRI-NT/TE interface module???

Hello Krishna,
BRI S/T
(external NT1)
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/interfaces/nm/hardware/installation/guide/OvrNetM.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/interfaces/nm/hardware/installation/guide/ConntBRI.html#wpxref13845
about the other one VIC stands for voice see the compatibility matrix
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_tech_note09186a00800e73f6.shtml
depending on the router you may need the right network module
two notes:
1)
because a VIC-2BRI-S/T-TE exists the physical layer can be different.
2) the WIC cab be good also for data services the VIC may be used only for voice services so it depends on application
Hope to help
Giuseppe
