I have a 2821 Router with 4 port HSSI module acting as a DTE. Is there a command that shows you what clockrate your receiving from the DCE?
The reason I ask is if I set the DCE to 2Mbps then 8Mbps I see no change on the DTE serial interface in terms on bandwidth settings?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks,
Wayne

Found it, thanks very much. I've now noticed that the clockrate is some 300k less than the DCE is providing.
For example, the DCE is clocking 7680000 and this is confirmed by use of a BERT at X.21. When you plug the Router in it sees the clockrate at something like 7362940 +/-10%.
Is this normal to have such a difference? The clocking is steady and doesn't drift.
Many thanks
Wayne
