hi
you know if I can put a server operating system windows server 2012 as ntp for cisco network equipment, is that I understand that you can only with linux servers.

Using MS products as an NTP source for other clients is not a good idea. This is because MS interpretation and implementation of NTP is not of the correct standard. It is better to get your core Cisco gear (like core router or core switch) to synchronize to an NTP/SNTP source and get all other clients to synchronize to your core Cisco gear.

yes, it is a good idea and design, but what I wonder is if I have a Windows server as NTP server support cisco equipment, you appreciate help.

Because MS implementation of NTP isn't correct, then Cisco appliance's won't get NTP synchronize.
