Configuring DNS portion of DHCP

I know this is a slam dunk, i am new to Cisco Products, so learning the correct verbage and protocol is proving to be quite a task for me. I have an existing PIX 525 {OS 6.3(1)} with 4 VLANs. I am trying to change the DNS that is assigned by DHCP on ONE of the VLANs. The current DNS Server was suddenly decomissioned by my ISP and I need to get 1 or 2 DNS servers to replace the now ghost-like one. I am not sure how to specify which VLAN I am going to change and what is the correct verbage to use, I thank you all in advance for your help.

Hello,

I think the command to be used is:

[no] dhcpd dns dns1 [dns2]

Check this link to the relevant PIX command reference:

dhcpd

Regards,

GP

thank you so much for your response!! I have one more question, how do i specify which VLAN to apply the DNS settings to?

I dont think the pix differntiates between different pools even though the pool might be differentiated by the

dhcpd ip command for each vlan. I think all other options will be common to each pool defined.

the [no] refers to what exactly?

when i type in the command

DHCPD DNS (DNS SERVER IP #)

it responds by insructing me to check my usage

the only thing I did not know what to fill in was the [no] variable.
