Configuring QoS Policy Propagation via BGP

At the moment we are running a mulihome between two routers with failover in place.

We route one subnet to ISP-A and another to ISP-B. (using AS-Prepend) for failover between ISP-A and ISP-B.

I would like to look at some form of QoS for when one of the ISP links fail.

Now it looks like

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2/qos/configuration/guide/qcfprop.pdf might just do the trick for me.

However, can I assign some form control over the classes ie allocated bandwidth /   exceed drop values or something of this nature as you can do with normal QoS?

Not sure I fully understand what you try to achieve but I don't see how Policy propagation can help here ?

Do you want ISP to apply some QoS for your inbound traffic ?

Some ISPs provides such a service but it's typically via some static profiles, that you agreed on. No dynamic protocol involved.

Thx,

Fabrice
