Hallo,
i have a problem with a my hardware configuration.
The current configuration:
A Siemens SPS S5 with so called "TIM structural component" is connected via a ISDN dail up connection to the internet. The SPS S5 can dail several phone numbers to gather information from other machines. The german telecom will cancel this ISDN connection.
Now i have the problem that i dont know if the SPS S5 with TIM structural component for the ISDN connection is compatible with a regular S0 modul for a Cisco Router?
The ISDN connection use a 9600 baud connection.
We are planning to set up a connection like
SPS S5 structural component---> S0 Modul ---> Cisco Router ---> xDSL or GSM modem connected with VPN to ---> Cisco Router ---> S0 modul ---> SPS S5 TIM structural component
Has someone experiance with a Siemens SPS S5 and a Cisco Router?
