Can someone help me on identifying the source of high cpu on my router?

I tried to sort out the cpu processes but the output does not state why it show up a 42% for 5sec interval.

Hi John,

The CPU utilisation you're seeing is traffic related, typically caused by the router CPU doing route lookups for traffic it is forwarding.

Take a read of the forum post understanding show process cpu sorted 1min command as this explains the 5-second CPU utilisation you see i.e., 42%/41%, and what those two numbers mean.

Your 5 second stats shows most of your CPU is being used for "interrupt" processing, which (as Steve) also notes, is CPU used for packet forwarding.  (Remember on software based routers, CPU is used for packet forwarding, i.e. CPU will increase or decrease with the amount of traffic passing through the router.)

A 2651XM is rated at 40 Kpps, which is good for about 10 Mbps (duplex) of minimum sized Ethernet packets (assuming no other services are being used).
