CRC troubleshooting - Cisco Catalyst

Are there any troubleshooting commands that can be performed to rule out a transceiver issue? In the past I typically start at one end of the link and start replacing sfp's and fiber optic patch cords until the CRC errors stop incrementing.

Hi,

CRC Indicates that the cyclic redundancy checksum generated by the originating LAN station or far-end device does not match the checksum calculated from the data received. On a LAN, this usually indicates noise or transmission problems on the LAN interface or the LAN bus itself. A high number of CRCs is usually the result of collisions or a station transmitting bad data.

show interface <type> <num>

show interface <type> <num> controller

try this one:

Also, one more thing to note.  This interfaces is a point to point link between two Cat 9000's and I cleared the counters on the interface the other day when I first noticed this.  Please see attachment.

Thanks
