datacenter interconnection doubt

Hi,

I need to interconnect two datacenters through a IP/MPLS network. I need to exchange the DB information between them and I see it's possible to use the EoMPLS technology for.

The problem is due to the fact that I don't have the SPA module with SIP 400 in Cat6509 as advised by Cisco but only the SUP720 10GE.

The question is: Could I implement the EoMPLS using only the SUP 720 10GE VSS?

Hello Giuseppe,

we have recently implemented an EoMPLS using tengiga ports of a WS-X6708-10GE.

My understanding is that a SIP linecard or ES linecards are needed if you plan to use the xconnect under SVI interface.

if you want to use xconnect under a physical port or a vlan subinterface you should be fine.
