DHCP in v4 and v6

what are the difference in both version for DHCP? tried to configure one router as DHCP server and other router as DHCP client for IPv6, client is not receiving IP address. I am not able to understand Preifx deligation in it. topology is simple having three router connected to switch. what are the config step?
