I'm beginning my studies for the ccnp Ensari cert. Many of the labs in Encor had 4221 routers used (I actually used other older images). However for studying for the ensari I'd like to use IOS-XE but GNS3 doesn't support it except for CSRV1000. I could go to EVE-NG but it requires a licensing fee to use Wireshark, and i don't want to pay that amount for just Wireshark (If I used the other added features it would be ok, but I'm not that far along in my studies, to add 1000 nodes, used advanced docker features etc).
So what is the difference between csrv1000 and ISR, used for in a functional/business sense? Would I be missing out if I used the CSRV1000 image over other IOS-XE images and the extra options available on EVE-NG? I'm also going to be doing other labs, i'm not sure exactly what type of virtualization i will be doing at the moment.
Can the csrv1000 perform the same functionality as the ISRs?

CSR1000v what you get if you run EVE-NG or GNS3 VM, it from name virtual
ISR4k is not virtual.
BUT
both use same IOS XE
