I have a strange issue !!
Following 2 bug with Cisco i had to work with the release c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M6.bin
Before that I have some trouble to have my DMVPN working correctly, as only part of it where going through the crypto engine. This release fix the problem.
but now I'm loosing 1 out of 2 ping on 1 vrf!
Following this thread https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/vpn/packet-loss-via-dmvpn-tunnel-but-not-across-wan/td-p/1683925
And testing with this command: show ip cef switching statistics feature
I find some drop
To be able to resolve this issue I have to issue a no ip cef
So far so good
But then after rebooting the router I loose all config regarding the VRF setting on my interface, and the boot give me this error:
*Oct 31 13:06:21.411: %COMMON_FIB-3-TABLE: unknown-IPv4-table:0x2: table find
-Traceback= 6E54FD0z 720D4ACz 7254768z 7254F04z 72BD970z 6004A1Cz 5FEB94Cz
So here part of the config before and after the reboot:
interface Tunnel3
description To Hub1/Hub2 vrf tech
ip vrf forwarding tech
ip address 10.2.3.114 255.255.255.0
!
interface Cellular0
ip vrf forwarding transport
no ip address
!
interface Dialer0
ip vrf forwarding transport
ip address negotiated
!
interface Vlan130
ip vrf forwarding tech
ip address 10.2.135.209 255.255.255.240
but after the reboot I have :
interface Tunnel3
description To Hub1/Hub2 vrf tech
ip address 10.2.3.114 255.255.255.0
!
interface Cellular0
no ip address
!
interface Dialer0
ip address negotiated
!
interface Vlan130
ip address 10.2.135.209 255.255.255.240
And I joing the actual config minus all security information
Any clue ?

Hello Arno,
You have mentioned a bug (or bugs) - do you have their IDs? I would like to have a look to understand if they might be related.
Either way, disabling CEF on your router is not a good idea at all. CEF is not just an accelerated method of forwarding packets; it is a vital internal infrastructure used by many features on top of packet routing and forwarding. Without CEF, many features may not work at all, and with the rest of working features, you risk heavily overloading your CPU. I am not surprised at all that after disabling CEF, you have lost the VRF settings.
Let's try focusing on your primary problem. Can you describe it in detail?
Best regards,
Peter

Hello,
No I don't have a bug, but at beginning it start without a number right ?
So here is the thinks.
I upgrade 3weeks ago to c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.156-3.M1.bin as Cisco request to resolve some issue with the DMVPN not working correctly The traffic didn't go trougth the crypto engine correctly.
And since then on 4G only (not on an ADSL access connected to Giga interface), I'm loosing 1 ping out of 2.
Then I saw drop on CEF switching table (show ip cef switching statistics feature), I don't remember which line but it was increasing during the ping.I know It's suck that I don't remember it will give good information on it.
Anyway since I'm using slow speed link (20Mb max) I decide to remove CEF, and then right a way the packet lose was history, everything works as it should be.
But then when I reboot the router I have an traceback and all VRF config where lost. I can re-install it and again it works, still without the CEF enable so CEF is not that important in my case. But that's not possible.
Here is the trace back I got on 1 router (not all actually, but same behavior happen on 3 routers, same version, same model.
*Oct 31 13:06:21.411: %COMMON_FIB-3-TABLE: unknown-IPv4-table:0x2: table find
-Traceback= 6E54FD0z 720D4ACz 7254768z 7254F04z 72BD970z 6004A1Cz 5FEB94Cz
And I think a traceback is a sign of a bug

Hello,
on a side note, this is the only bug I could find:
Getting COMMON_FIB-3-TABLE error message at start-up
CSCul34734
Description
Symptom:
Following error message with traceback is seen when router boots up.
COMMON_FIB-3-TABLE unknown-IPv4-table:0x1: table find
Conditions:
Tunnel with VRFs is configured.
Workaround:
It looks cosmetic at this point.
Either way, can you post the output of 'show ip route' and 'show ip cef' when you have CEF enabled ?
11-02-2017 02:11 AM
here is the show ip route and show ip cef, there are big!
I use the vrf data, since this is where i have my test computer
Did I mention that the problem only happen on 4G not on ADSL ?
And the print out is done with another release I use c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M8.bin, instead of c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M6.bin
Because Cisco thing without investigation that this release is suppose to work. But it dosen't work with DMVPN, neither with the packet lose.
