Distance eigrp 90 90 WS-6500 VSS

I have a client that has WS-6500 in VSS with NSF. By deleting the command distance eigrp 90 90, the neighboring devices resynchronized their eigrp adyacency. After this, the metrics appeared as infinity, causing an instability in the network. Why this happen?

Does i need to execute a clear ip eigrp?

WS-6500-VSS#show ip eigrp topology 10.1.1.0/24

Part of the explanation is easy. The metric went to Infinity because the route is in the active state. The router has sent a query to its neighbors about this route and is waiting for 1 response. This condition is referred to as Stuck In Active. So the real question is why is the router not receiving a response to its query? We need to know more about the network environment to be able to answer that.
