DMVPN issue

hi all

i want to share  something regarding to DMVPN with you

In my company we have almost more than 50 remote sites which are connected to head office through DMVPN.All the remote sites are having ADSL link

Sometimes, you can say once in week or once in 2 weeks some of the sites randomly out of 50 sites 1 or 2 sites starts showing disconnected.

When we troubleshoot the remote site,  LAN users can ping the gateway but after restarting the router vpn become establish again. Its not a best practise to restart the router.

I want to know

• •1.       Root cause of  such  frequent incidences
• •2.       Steps to be  taken to avoid  such incidences

will appriciate if you guys share your ideas

Hello Salman,

check the NHRP activity similar issues have been reported in recent times in the forum

also post the IOS version and router models for hub and spokes devices

877,1861,2911

with different cersions of IOS
