Hello,
below the sh ver command of my core switch and i'd like to know if it supports netflow. because i've tried to issue netflow commands but it rejects it. thanks for your help and recommendation.

What SUP Engine does your CAT 4000 switch have?
To use the NetFlow feature on a 4000 and 4500 series switches, you need to have either a Supervisor Engine IV or a Supervisor Engine V and along with this, a NetFlow Services Daughter Card (WS-F4531) should be installed additionally.
If you have Supervisor Engine V-10GE, (which I think is not available for the Cat 4000), the functionality is embedded in the supervisor engine and you only need to configure NetFlow.

Don Thomas Jacob
