Hi,

How can I  do  dual homed to single ISP provider for load balancing

Both links are equal bandwidth

Scenario 1

Single subnet

Scenario 2

Two subnet

Sample configuration will be really helpful

Thanks

Hi

Take a look on this Cisco documentation:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/border-gateway-protocol-bgp/13762-40.html

You'll have all cases.
Let me know if you need more help

Thanks
Francesco

Hi,

Thanks for the link .

actually i have single subnet , Is it possible doing with single subnet ( vrf lite )?

Thanks

Not sure I understand your point here with single subnet. If you’re dual homed, that means you have a router on your side connected with 2 different cables on your ISP routers, right? Are these routers with the same vlan then same subnets? Is that what you mean?

Otherwise explain a bit your design or paste a sketch of it.

Anyway, you can do load balancing by using routing protocol like BGP in the example shared or you can ask your ISP to configure glbp on their routers. GLBP is like HSRP but can do some load-balancing.

What’s your goal at the end?

Thanks

HI,

yes

What’s your goal at the end?

Utilize the bandwidth  using both links .

Right now HSRP configured . (Behind the router I have asa in active standby )

Thanks

Ok first ask them if you can use both lines simultaneously.
Then you can configure bgp to follow Cisco documentation or you can ask them to change from hsrp to glbp.

Thanks
