Hi Netpros,
I need to terminate a broadband and a leased line on 1841, for load balancing / failover with NATting.
Is it possible, if yes, then how?
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Saurabh
You can do outbound load balance but on the incoming part you are not left with any option of load balancing.
so better to stay away from doing this which may even deteriorate the performance of the outbound traffic too..

Hi,
Thanx for the reply.
I would be using another device for NATting, and would be doing load balance on 1841 only. Can you suggest about the kind of QoS to be implemented on this kind of setup?
Thanx
cheers,
saurabh

Hi,
I am sorry for putting on the wrong word.
I was to ask about IP SLAs. This am asking in the case when my router is connecting to broadband modem on ethernet. Then I need SLAs to track the ADSL line. Now, how will my router work for failover, I mean how will it shift to the leased line when the ADSL line goes down??
cheers,
saurabh
