dynamic vlan - Cisco ACS

Hi All,

We have a plan to implement dynamic VLAN for our wired users. We have a headcount of around 6000 users. Can you please suggest what hardware we can go with to achieve this setup. As of now we have 2960 at access layer and Windows 2012 R2 AD configured.

Hi, I think what you're looking for is a VMPS (VLAN Management Policy Service) server which is implemented on Catalyst 6500 series, or perhaps even in 4500 (not sure about the last one).

I found this link quickly about the client configuration, it mentions the 6500 as a VMPS server.
