I am not familiar with EAMIS circuits offered by AT&T . A customer I am helping contracted to replace T1s with 10-20 MB burstable circuits. They currently have a 3845 router with WIC ports. My understanding is that this type of circuit is handed to the customer as ethernet connection. So I should be able to plug it into Ethernet ports . I am planning to replace that 3845 router with a 2921 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10543/index.html) that comes with 3 Ethernet ports.
1- Should this 2921 router do fine with EAMIS circuits?
2- Anything to be aware in the configuration for burstable circuits? Is the speed recognized by the interfaces as the bandwidth adjusts itself?
