Unlike EIGRP, which has key chain rotation feature, OSPF authentication key must be manually configured on each link when we want to expire the key. In addition, we have over 400 p2p links that have OSPF configured. I am just wondering if anyone knows a way or a feature on 12.4T that allows us to change OSPF keys more efficiently?
As for BGP, on top of key expiration requirement, each BGP session must have a unique shared secret. We also have a lot of connections with MPLS service provider. I am wondering if there is a easy way to satisfy these two requirements for BGP. Is sBGP a possible resolution? I don't know if 12.4T supports sBGP?
