Eigrp Load balancing ?

Hi All,

Does IGRP/EIGRP supports equal cost path load-balancing by default upto 4 paths ??? I think We use Variance keyword just to configure the protocols for unequal cost path load balancing. By default what's the behaviour ???

Eigrp can loadbalance only upto 6 paths or greater than that considering that I am using MPPP with 10 links bundled in the multi-link group.

Hi,

EIGPR equal cost load balancing : yes.and 4 paths : no problem.

Ther is another command to define the max number of path to load-balance among (jsut look it up on this site!).

Using MPPP is an excellent idea if you have serial links : less demanding on the router and semaless redundancy.
