enable password

i have switch on other branch i can not ping this switch but the rest of switch i can ping it when i want to go on enable mode there is no password set ?

my question can i but enable password remotely note the branch is empty no person there

Hi engbandar

if you have console access to the remote switch this should be easy. If you have no console access but only telnet access, which most likely requires a password but none is set, then I am afraid you'll need to get console access first.

i have only telnet access but enable password not set this is the massage showing when i tray to access to enable mode

you need a console access then, as thre's no way to sneak in to the enable mode remotely. Alternatively via reverse telnet you could get the same console access remotely, but you'll need a terminal server solution for that.
