Did you make sure the module is supported with the IOS?

Has this ever worked or is this new?

Do you have the config off the router?

If you remove the module from slot 0, does the router boot with out error?

What is the model number on the module?

Mike

Hi

It was a working router & the modules are WIC-2T, NM-2CE1T1-PRI & WIC-1B-S/T-V3.I have already checked by removing the module from slot 0 & also removing all module from the router but it is showing same error during booting.

Could you please check the backplane of slot 0. Sometimes, this issue can also be seen due to bent pins or broken pins. If you find something abnormal, then the chassis has to be replaced.

Other thing that you can try is, try reseating the card in slot 0 again and also try upgrading the IOS to see if that helps. the IOS that you are running is already End of Life.

Hope this helps.

Most of the cases, this indicates a hardware issue and needs replacement of the module that is showing the error. The only other thing you can try is either try physically reseating the module in slot 0 or try it in a spare router chassis (if available. Wouldnt recommend to try this on another production router).

If reseating doesn't resolve the problem, then you will have to replace the card in slot 0.
