Extended LAN over Frame Relay

Greetings to everybody.

I've always configured point-to-point Frame Relay in a way that connects two different lan segments and using static routes to reach each of these networks.

One of the client is moving from one location to another, but he is leaving all of his servers in the first location, they want us to conifgure the frame relay circuit so the lan segment is both locations is the same in a Extenden Lan kind of way and they can access servers transparently when they move their staff. We told them this could not be acheived through FR but somebody said this could be done but didn't know how to.

The question is: Can this be acheived? If so, please explain in IOS commands

Thank you for your kind support. Points will be given.

If you want to extend a vlan across a L3 routed WAN then you will need to use L2TPv3 (providing your router support it). See this link for details -

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t2/feature/guide/gtl2tpv3.html

you want the ethernet specific bit on the doc.
