Finding 1720 Serial Number

Hi, I recently purchased a 1720 router on ebay and it arrived without a Serial Number sticker. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can locate the S/N without that sticker?

It may be release dependent, but try the show inventory command. I have some 1721s running 12.3T where this command works and shows the serial number.

I think sh inventory is a fairly newer command, So like Rick suggested, you can try the command on the router when it comes in, but if it doesnt, try upgrading to 12.3T and check with the same command.

Darn! I tried that and it is release dependent. I'm running 12.1 and that command is not accepted.
