I am looking for the correct part number for a cable that has male 60 pin on one end and male slim serial (I think it's called smart serial, and in my case is is the connector on my WIC-1T) on the other. For reference, the device with the 60 pin serial is a 3620 router, and the WIC-1T is in my wan network interface device, a uBR900 series.
Can anyone provide me with guidance on this -- or better, point me to a "cable finder" for Cisco products?
Thank you!
Robert

WIC-1T has a DB-60 connector (which means 60 pins). So I am kind of confused as to what type of interface is available on your 3620. If it is db60 to db60 you are looking for, depending upon the length, I have seen deals online as low as 10-20 dollars a cable. (you might find even cheaper ones on ebay)

Indeed I have a female DB-60 on my 3620. The interface plugin card with the DB-60 is designated WIC-1T as you indicate.
On the uBR900 unit, however, the interface card plugin also is designatged WIC-1T, but has a thin female connector that is about 1/8 inch wide and 1/2 inch long. As a point of reference on the connector, I have seen a different interface plug-in card available on eBay, designated WIC 2T, that has 2 of these thin interface plugs in a vertical configuration. See the following URL as an example of the type of connector on my uBR 900 unit (this being the 2T, but my 1T has a single instance of the same connector):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=67290&item=5761689866&rd=1
From my research I believe that there are different plug interfaces available on the class of device designated WIC 1T. I suspect that all variants in this device class offer serial protocol interfaces, but I cannot be certain about that.
So in summary, the cable that I am seeking needs a DB-60 male connector on one end and a thin (I suspect "smart serial", but I have seen this designation on eBay and not in Cisco's official documentation) male connector on the other end.
Thanks!

As a follow-on, and sorry for not thinking to ask this in my prior reply: can you identify the connector type / name associated with this thin serial connector? I have seen various designations (especially on eBay where the level of seller knowledge4 can very substantially) and am unsure what to call it.
Thanks,
Robert

Robert,
Here is what you need.

You are right. You need a DB60 to Smart serial. There could be two cables (depending which end you want to be DTE or DCE)

Thanks! The biggest challenge on eBay has been photos that don't show the connectors and descriptions that aren't complete about connector type! Looks like this guy does it right. Again thanks for your assist!!

Robert,
Can you log into the uBR900, do a "show version", and post those results here? Perhaps these pages will help narrow down the exact module/interface you have.
Thanks

Steve - have not tried yet, but I'm certain at this point that the connector is a smart serial type; and I've seen several pictures at this point that clearly identify cables with the correct connectors on the ends. Have bought one on eBay and will proceed with this once the cable arrives.
Tx!
