Flow-redirection

I am a service provider.

I have 2 paths to the internet.

I have a Layer 4 switch that decides which path the HTTP(80) traffic should flow.

basically i put blocks of /19,/20,/21 on the HTTP path to the internet.

Also, I have a alot of flow-redirection rules on the switch. About 48-54 on them

Always the CPU utilization is at 81-90 percent and then the switch reboots and then for 2 or 3 minutes I can see a huge dip in my internet traffic.

I then enter the switch and disable the rules and enable them back. Everything works fine from there onwards

Any suggestions??

DRAM could be low in which case you can try upgrading it.If DRAM is sufficient then try upgrading the IOS which may fix this issue.
