I am looking for some guidance on a scenario I have. I am trying to faithfully re create a ccie voice Lab, I don't have frame relay crossover cables or wic
cards, I am trying to see if dynamips would help on the frame relay side
I have 3 2691 routers and a frame relay switch in my dynamips virtual environment. I also have 3 physical routers (2800) hosting my E1 connections
I intend to connect a spare ethernet port on the 2800's to a 3750 switch port, that is also hosting the dynamips PC. I would like if possible
to avoid using ip addresses on spare 2800 ethernet port and the virtual 2691 ethernet port that connect the 2 devices. This would leave the Lan on the 2800 seeing it's next hop as the frame relay serial interface on the virtual router. In essence, believing the frame relay port is local.
Is some sort of bridging the answer?
