I want to build a frame relay switch by using multiple 2500 series routers, which are interconnected with its ethernet interface on simple LAN segment. Is it possible? If yes, where can I find more info?

You could do that with 12.4T what has FR over L2TPv3, but your 2500 cannot run it.
So, no.

I believe that (a long time ago) I set this up and got it to do Frame Relay switching over several 2500 routers where the 2500s were connected by Ethernet. I do not remember the details clearly but I believe that the essential part of this was to define the incoming DLCI on a serial interface, to define the outgoing DLCI on the serial interface of the other router, and to define a DLCI used between the 2 routers. Also configuring a tunnel between the 2 switching routers to carry the DLCIs.
Having done a quick search I believe that the section:
Switching over an IP Tunnel Example
in this URL:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/wan_c/wcdfrely.htm
will give you a good example of what you need to do.

Good catch Rick. I vaguely remembered about this and could not find track of it - and I've searched. I think at the time was introduced, required enterprise feature set. Also possibily is in telco images.
