Hello,

On a 3750 switch, which is not yet in production,
connected to nothing for the moment. I enabled ip routing and add static routes.

And when I do a show ip route,
i have this message :

Gateway of last resort is not set

I have a static route :
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.39.6.3

it's because the switch is not connected to anything?

Yes I make double check
if the next-hop of
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x
or
default-gateway x.x.x.x
is not reachable then
appear

Gateway of last resort is not set
even if you have interface UP/UP and show in ip route.
you need next-hop to be UP/UP.

I believe so.  If you show the route table, it's completely empty, correct?

yes, with a show ip route, it's empty

It is the same for
#show int trunk
It doesn't display anything.
#show spanning tree (spanning tree is enable by default)
No spanning tree instance exists
