Hello,

I think you have to use this comand "show running-config view full" in order to view the user.

Hi!

Can you try this way?

privilege exec all level 3 show running-config (adding the word "all" to the command)

and after

show running-config view full

Hello Diana,

As per your doc I try but it's not working.

NAT-CORE-1#show running-config all
NAT-CORE-1#show running-config view full

But, When I try to "Write Memory" it show me below massage.

NAT-CORE-1#wr me
Building configuration...

Error on initialize VLAN database 1: VTP feature not yet initialized[OK]
NAT-CORE-1#

Please help.

Hello,

I don't think you can view the full running configuration with anything below privilege level 15.

You could try the below, the autocommand will show the running config and then immediately logs the user off:

username user1 privilege 15 secret 5 $1$.PPn$FFYb1Zz6ZpclhdgSfZOwG.
username user1 autocommand show running-config

!
line vty 0 4
login local
transport input all

Hello
Are you testing this on real hardware or on virtual simulation software?
It seems it should work, however show running-config =  is a privilege level 15 command and what you are trying to do is to place it at a lower level, so it may not be applicable due to the amount of sublevels it shows.

I am aware you can increase a level command, from say level 1 to level 3 but not so sure you can downgrade a level, maybe try a role based parser instead?

I cannot test this myself to validate so maybe others can test and share their results as it would be good to know if this is just down to virtual software limitation and in fact it works on real hardware or it’s just not applicable to do?
