Hi all,
I need help with Microsoft cluster.
How I could do geographical cluster throught Internet. I mean network configuration because both sites must be on the same IP network. I know that I can do this with VLANs or VPN tunels?
Could someone help me?

Hi John,
I have not practically worked with the microsoft cluster configuration over the WAN.Do you really need same IP network on both the sides, if that is the requirement then there two options to it:
A. Configure Source NAT and destination NAT on one of the router at either of the site and then create VPN over the internet.
B. Take a leased line and connect the two sites as a point-point link and then configure Bridging (IRB-integrated routing and briding) between the two routers.
As I have not tried it and I am thinking only these two possible options at this time.may be someone else can point a different solution on this.

Hello Amit,
problem is that Microsoft cluster must be within the same VLAN aka IP pool when done geographically to see each other. When you wrote about VPN you meant GRE?
Thanks a lot for help.
