Hello Everyone,
We are using ASR 1001.
We have 2 ISP links .
We are running BGP with full routing table update. We are getting packet drops when pinging next hop from ASR when BGP is enabled.
If we shut the BGP, then we are not getting any packet drops.
Can anyone help ?

is the issue seen on both links or 1 only , if you leave just 1 up as a test ?
is there memory and cpu available , its not struggling , two full tables is a lot but my ASR 1001x handles it ok without drops
are the far end points local or remote in distance to the PE end , we had an issue like this on a site wrong sfps were in , short range sfp was in long range circuit and long range sfp was in the short range circuit , it was fine on static but when went dynamic with BGP it caused an issue started seeing drops just something to make sure off

Have you checked the link utilization when BGP is enabled? With BGP enabled I'd assume you are then routing traffic across it. Also the utilization may be small going out, but peaking coming back.
Hope this helps.
