Has anyone any one had a problem with the counters on a GRE tunnel when running a the command on ISO 15.4:
sh int tunnel0 | inc rate
It's a serial interface, configured as a PPP link, encapsulated into a GRE tunnel with no encryption. If I run a sh int s0/0/0 or sh int ppp s0/0/0 I see the tx/rx traffic incrementing as expected. I can't find an explanation as to why the serial int and PPP link would both increment but the tunnel int doesn't seem to acknowledge the traffic coming in or out? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
