We have 2 sites connected with MPLS :
HK --- Router 3850 -- VLAN 107 (172.15.0.250) ------- MPLS router (172.15.0.249) --------------MPLS---
--MPLS router (192.168.2.249) ----VLAN 2 (192.168.2.1) - Router 3850 - China
Since MPLS does not enable multicast
and we need to have multicast by Informacast (VLAN 105 192.168.9.25) from HK to China IP-PHONE (VLAN 4 192.168.4.0/24),
we need to build a GRE Tunnel first. But both Tunnel interface is UP/UP, but can't ping the other side.
Here's the setting:
HK :
Tunnel0 :
IP address : 172.16.1.1 255.255.255.0
Tunnel Source : 172.15.0.250
Tunnel destination: 192.168.2.1
China :
Tunnel0 :
IP address : 172.16.1.2 255.255.255.0
Tunnel Source : 192.168.2.1
Tunnel destination: 172.15.0.250
Not yet consider multicast ...

Tunnel will take traffic only if Tunnel Source and Destination are reachable to each other

sure I can ping both of them before creating the tunnel
