Hi

please assist me in purchase correct cisco device for my purposes.

Current device should meets next req. :

1. cisco device (router) is connected as client to vpn1 server  (IPSec, 3DES).Server running under Centos or FreeBSD = srv1.

Srv1 is located in another physical location.

All traffic behind this is router going through vpn1 ( means "all clients inside local network connectin to internet via this vpn")

2. Also company users should be able to connect to the company network using current device as vpn server (vpn2).

remote users should be able to access all resources behind router and aslo all network resources located in vpn1.

3. In general the most critical is maximum security/encryption. I think we should use IPSec L2TP 3DES IKev2......please suggest

The primitive network scheme should be look like this:

I think next models can be used for this (am I right ?):

Cisco 520 Secure Router,

Cisco SA520 UTM Bundle (IPS And ProtectLink Gtwy 25 Users, 3 Year),

Cisco Linksys RV082.

Maybe there exists  better cisco devices for these purposes ?

Thank you in advance.

What bandwidth are you expecting the router to handle?

I think 100Mbs lan\50Mbs vpn will be enought.

but it's can be more speedy.

the most critical for me  - it's stable and security.

I think 100Mbs lan\50Mbs vpn will be enought.

50 mbps????  Wow, that's large!  I don't think a 520 can handle this.

Look at the Portable Product Sheets – Routing Performance for your perusal.  Remember that the numbers under "Fast/CEF Switching" and Mbps is quoted in HALF Duplex and no encryption.  If you want full duplex speed and encryption (because of VPN) then you need to divide the value by 4.

In your case, it looks like you are looking at a 3945 ISR G2.

..sorry I forgot to specify hight price for me is up to 2000$ (better if it will be ~ 1000$ - 1200$)

50 mbps????  Wow, that's large!

opps. ) it can be slower.

from now  - i think that few mbps is enough

Thank you for link. I'm trying to recognize this info now

But I will be thankfull  if you suggest some device (according to my price).
