Appreciate if someone has a few minutes to make the test, just paste the following lines:
access-list 10 permit any
route-map TEST permit 10
match ip address 10
set tag 100
And then issue sh run. My problem is that the set statement does not appear in the config!!!
Actually I tested it on IOS c2600-j1s3-mz.122-15.T5.bin and it did NOT work.
It DID WORK however on c2600-i-mz.122-8.t10.bin.
Any explanation or workaround?
Thanks.

It looks like it might be a bug. Can you try upgrading to the latest 12.2(15)Tx rebuild (T16) and see if the behavior changes.
Hope this helps,

Thanks .
Actually, I have faced this problem at my CCIE lab exam attempt, and i failed (partly) because of it.
This is why I do not really beleive that it is a bug, because i dont think the proctors would deploy any buggy IOS.
I have searched several posts, but never found anything mentioned about this subject. It made me doubt myself. So i hope someone would correct me.
Cheers
